As difficult times limit orphans to necessities such as love, care, food, and shelter, your donations and support have helped AbundantLife Orphanage respond to the impact and risks in the most vulnerable communities. The pandemic has added even more difficulty for orphans at risk of hunger and malnutrition to access food, good nutrition, and necessities. During this pivotal moment, AbundantLife Orphanage put in place innovative rescue missions to bring these helpless children to help, all thanks to your ongoing donations and support.

Abundant life Orphanage has overtime, rescued orphans from Thailand, as we know has more than a million children living in poor health conditions simply because they have disabilities, have been forced to live on the streets, or have no family to love and care for them.

Even with the increasing rate at which vulnerable children exist, AbundantLife Orphanage has been able to cater for every child they save and help equip them with the necessary tools which will enable them to compete globally amongst every other child, privileged and underprivileged.

abundant life is improving in its innovations to ensure we rescue as many children as our facility can cater for to efficiently provide for them, our workers and volunteers who have selflessly gone out of their comfort zones to ensure these children’s needs are met medically, socially, spiritually and otherwise.

Through your donations, we have been able to provide in bulk, necessities such as food, clothing, and toiletries already stored in facilities due to the pandemic and the difficulty in getting these things daily, teachers, medical personnel who live in the home with the children for easy access.

Social distancing and other COVID19 rules are also practiced amongst children and every other worker or caregiver in the home, from bed spacing to few gatherings, to food rationing spaced lines and other six feet spacing method of gathering. We desperately need nose masks and sanitizers in surplus quantities to help curtail the spread of the virus in our home. Please, donations are highly encouraged.

Worryingly, 4.4 million children have either lost one parent or are orphans in Indonesia. With schools closed across Indonesia due to COVID-19 restrictions, hundreds of students who were able to be enrolled in schools sponsored by AbundantLife Orphanage receive what is often only one meal of the day through school food distribution programs, also organized by AbundantLife Orphanage, now lack access to critical nutrition. To revert this issue, AbundantLife Orphanage is working with the Indonesian Education sector to provide take-home rations of rice flour, maize, vegetable oil, and green beans to more than 30,000 students through the Karen Sanchez-AbundantLife Food for Education project.

Usually, these very ingredients are introduced into healthy meals prepared at school by parents and community volunteers. Providing this food for orphans and single parent-families to take home during the lockdown of schools will support hundreds of children who are prone to chronic malnutrition.

Safety guidelines are obeyed while the distribution of the food items is going on in various communities. By performing hand-washing and sanitization protocols, preventing the large gatherings of people during distributions, and how to safely form lines using 6 feet distancing techniques, communities can protect and support their members and prevent the spread of COVID-19.

abundant life Orphanage has a history of responding to natural disasters in the Philippines. After Super Typhoon Haiyan, which left a massive path of destruction, we were among the organizations providing emergency relief. After the flood subsidized, we remained, supporting the reconstruction of homes and provision of education to hundreds of children who may have lost one or both parents during the disaster.
For quite some time now, abundant life in the Philippines has worked with local communities and organizations to design Sponsorship programs for kids.
Aimed at helping children from early childhood to early adulthood, our programs work to make a healthy and safe environment where children can learn, grow, and explore the unlimited opportunities the world has to offer. For single parents, especially moms, we nurture them and their healthy babies by providing access to high-impact, low-cost care, working to stop preventable deaths in mothers and children.
Our early childhood programs help prepare infants and adolescents especially the orphans, for school by giving them access to top-notch preschools and early literacy programs, while our programs designed for primary school-aged children are aimed to transform students into lifelong learners by building strong curriculums and passionate teachers.
Our program with adolescents focuses on that challenging transition between childhood and adulthood, helping ensure its positivity by teaching them money, job, life coping, and relationship skills. We also provide health care and education to children in need through our school health programs to help children stay healthy, well-nourished, and in school.

Thanks to the generous support from our community of sponsors, these essential programs in the Philippines, and the various countries we’re able to extend even the littlest of help to continue giving children a fresh, healthy start and the opportunity to learn, protecting them any harm along the way.

Remember you can make a difference in the world, one child at a time, they’re the future.
